Pickboy

50 years of Pickboy, 50 years of history, and 50 years of passion. From our first tortoise shell picks hand-made by Shoji Nakano to our just released PEI and Fibertex picks, Pickboy leads the industry in guitar pick production, materials, and technology. As the picks strikes the string, we believe it's the primarly driver for great tone. We are passionate about picks.

From our first production run, our focus has been on producing the best quality picks to help guitarists realize their ultimate tone. We've innovated with many materials, shapes, and production processes to realize this goal. Our composite materials like carbon graphite, nylon 66, ceramic nylon, metacarbonate, and now PEI and Fibertex have changed the way guitarists interact with their guitars. We're were also the first with design picks; innovating and creating a whole new category of picks with the introduction of our Toxin 99% pick in the mid 1970's. Many artists over the 50 years have come to depend on Pickboy for their tone. A short list includes Ritchie Blackmore, Lita Ford, Jason Becker, Tomo Fujita, and now John Mayer.

We're starting our 50th year celebration by reissuing our PEI/Ultem picks in our popular Edge and Reefer picks. We'll also have a PEI version of our popular Pos A Grip pick. Next up will be another new, propritary material we call Fibertex also in our Reefer pick. It has a nice clean attack and warm bottom end. Stay tuned during the next 12 months for releases of limited edition picks and more exciting news about the growing family of artists that are using Pickboy.

We invite you to explore Pickboy's world of picks and discover what many guitarists consider the secret to their tone. We've tried our best to make it easy to navigate and find your pick. However, if you need help finding a pick or have a suggest on how to make it easier to find a pick, send us an email and we'll be happy to help you find your pick.
